[origin: EP0860537A1] The clothes drier consists of a suction cup (2) with a membrane (5) and a lever (8). the body of the cup is equipped with a vertical projection (12) which receives a threaded rod (13) with its lengthwise axis parallel to the membrane. The threaded rod carries a number of horizontal bars (16) which can pivot relative to it and be set at different angles to one another so that washing can be suspended from them without touching. The pivoted ends of the bars are made with radial ribs so they can be locked relative to one another.
