Abstract (en)
The heater comprises storage block with a high temperature. It contains electrical resistances (7) and an energy storage core (2). The energy storage core is formed by a block of material in which the electrical resistances are embedded. An insulating cover (3,4,5,6) surrounds the core, defining side, lower (4), upper (5), rear (3) and front (6) parts. On the surface of the side, rear, lower and upper parts a relatively low insulation temperature appertains. A perforated front face (10) is placed in front of a front surface (9) of the block. The thickness of the front part of the insulating cover is restricted so that an average radiation temperature forms on the front surface of the block i.e. greater than the insulation temperature. A radiation plate (8) is positioned against the front part of the insulating cover and is made of metal.

Le radiateur électrique à accumulation permet de fournir par rayonnement une partie relativement importante de l'énergie. Il comprend un bloc accumulateur d'énergie chauffé par des résistances électriques (7) noyées dans un noyau accumulateur (2) et entouré d'isolant (3, 4, 5, 6). L'épaisseur de la couche avant (6) de l'isolant est légèrement inférieure aux autres couches entourant le bloc accumulateur pour qu'une plaque avant (8), placée sur cette couche d'isolant relativement réduite (6), puisse avoir une température de l'ordre de 150°C et rayonner une partie de l'énergie thermique fournie par le bloc accumulateur. La carcasse du radiateur permet de ménager un espace (20) entre sa face avant perforée (10) et la plaque de rayonnement (8). Application au chauffage de tous locaux. <IMAGE>
