[origin: EP0860678A1] The armouring comprises a collision plate (6), a counter plate (8) and an explosive material layer (7) between the plates. Through the detonation of explosive layer, the collision plate is accelerated in the flight path of a flying projectile and the counter plate takes on reaction forces and flies away. The counter plate (8) has a granular, particle-type structure in which the particles are so bound together that the counter plate on explosion of the corresponding material is decomposed. Between the explosive material layer (7) and the counter plate (8), a metal foil (19) or a thin plate (20) of ductile, metallic material is arranged.
