[origin: WO9812553A1] The present invention pertains to an instrument for measuring the oxygen contained in a gas mixture or a gas matrix under the generic term used in claim 1. In order to improve this type of instrument for the magnetic measurement of oxygen so as to considerably simplify adjustment, the invention suggests that the dumbbell-type gas volumes, the mirror and the bucking coil be mounted onto a supporting plate as an integrated structural element based on the micromechanical structural pattern of silicone, and that the dumbbell-type gas volumes, consisting of a supporting plate and, positively fitted thereto, two capping plates of photosensitive glass, be mounted together with the mirror and the bucking coils to form a built-in structural unit.
