[origin: EP0861614A2] The plastic clip has three parallel connected rollers, and the outer roller for the hair tips is turnable and replaceable. The roller (9) nearest to the hair's roots has a smaller diameter than the hair tip roller (6). This roller can be clipped into a roller holder (7). The holder consists of a clamp (8) engaging around the roller in a semi-shell shape. The end faces (11) of the hair tip roller each have a projecting peg (12), and an elastic element (13) is tensioned between the pegs. The central roller (3) is hinged out of its parallel position via a hinge on the connection, and relocked in parallel position by a holder unit.
