Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0861955A2] The knob (3) has a neck rotarily mounted in a fitment (4) fixed to the window casement. The neck has a holder for an operating pin (21). A closure or bolt unit is inserted into the handle-knob and has an axially displaceable, non-circular blocking element (17) fitting into an opening in the fitment and connected to the operating pin. The opening (39) is formed by an opening possessing the outer shape of the blocking element, and positioned in a plate (38) fixed to the window casement and positioned on the underside of a fitment-housing (23). The blocking element is in the form of a sleeve (17) at least partly enclosing the operating pin and positioned in the holder (7,9) for the operating pin.
