[origin: EP0861959A2] The safety lock includes respective outer (1) and internal units (2) on both sides of a door (3) for the activation of a lock (4) which comprises a main bolt (4a) and a safety bolt (4b). The outer unit comprises an armoured casing (5) with a first reed (6), carrying the outer door handle (7), and a second reed (8), carrying a rectangular shaft (9) which operates the main bolt. A bolt (10) which can be pressed down, couples the first reed and the second reed, and a holder (11) is permanently connected with the bolt. A rocker arm (12) with an elastic arm drives the holder and is driven in opposed directions through a motor-driven activation arrangement (13) and through an emergency lever (14). An electronic card reader (15) activates the activation arrangement, and an emergency lock cylinder (17) driven the emergency lever.
