Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19707762C1] The inner and outer tumblers are couplable by an electro-magnetic coupling. This coupling device comprises two toothed rods (40). One of the toothed rods is in engagement via meshing teeth with the inner tumbler as inner or panic toothed rod. The other toothed rod as outer or free-run toothed rod is in like engagement with the outer tumbler, acting as outer or free-run toothed rod. A coupling lever is provided, which is fixable to one of the toothed rods and is formed for coupling engagement to the other toothed rod. At least one lock catch (5) and one bolt (4) are incorporated and the security lock can be operated by a divided latch tumbler (7).
