[origin: EP0862017A2] The lamp fitting has a housing (20) which contains a lamp holder (204) and a frame (10), and which is retained by a screw connection (203) on at least one component (102) which is connected to the latter. The retaining component is connected in one piece to the frame, and its surface is roughly perpendicular to that of the frame. The frame and the retaining component may be made largely as a flat stamping, and the retaining component may be in the form of a circular ring. The housing may have two components (201,202) which can be connected together, and which rest against the end walls of the retaining component when mounted.
