Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0862025A2] The radiator has several identical heating body member joined to one another at upper and lower naves. Connections are provided for back flow and forward flow, both of which can be arranged on arbitrary heating body members, pointing vertically downwards. The connection (3) for forward flow is connected with an end-side heating body member (1.1, 1.n) by means of a pipe (4). This pipe extends through the naves of the intermediately located heating body members. The union between the connection (3) and the pipe (4) is of a material nature or one of positive engagement or by means of a sealed corner (5). The sealed corner has two holes (5.1,5.2) at right-angles to one another and joined to one another, whereby with the first hole (5.1) the connection (3) is connected in a fluid-tight manner and with the second hole (5.2) the pipe (4.1) is likewise connected.
