Abstract (en)
Player-operable entertainment machines (1), such as coin operated 'fruit' or 'poker' machines, are connected to a common display device such as a selector wheel (16), or set of reels (22), and an award is made available at one or more of the individual machines (1) in dependence on a display attained on the common display device (16, 22). This may provide an additional award opportunity for each machine (1) independently of the other machines. Alternatively, the machine may share an additional award. <IMAGE>
