Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9811876A1] This invention concerns a dispersible concentrate which can be diluted with water, 5 % glucose solution, or with Ringer's solution to obtain thermodynamically stable ultramicroemulsions which have micelles with a hydrodynamic radius of 2.2 to 3.0 nm and which are characterized by joining together the following components into a pharmaceutically useable system: 0.1 to 5 wt.% of individual ester of formula (I) or (II), wherein for all R=H representing a saturated or unsaturated carboxylic acid of the type C6-22-alkyl, C6-22-alkenyl, or C6-22-alkapolyene, or a combination of these esters, as well as 1 to 25 wt.% of a pharmaceutically compatible solvent or solvent mixture serving as a hydrotropic solution or co-emulsifying agent, 0 to 5 wt.% of Good's buffering agent or 3-[(3-cholamide propyl)-dimethylammonio]-propane sulfonate (CHAPS) and/or DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide), 5 to 90 wt.% of a pharmaceutically compatible surfactant or surfactant mixture, 0 to 10 wt.% of a vitamin or provitamin, 0 to 10 wt.% of a stabiliser, a free radical scavenger, or penetrant and carrier substance and/or thinners.
