[origin: WO9721929A1] A positioning actuator (40) with three axes (X, Y, Z) including at least one power axis is disclosed. The actuator includes a base (41) comprising a movable supporting member and a device (44) for moving said member up and down; and a shaft (43) connecting the movable head (45) of the actuator (40) to the base (41). The connecting shaft (43) forms a swivel-type double linkage enabling sideways movement of the head (45) relative to the base (41), and the lower end of the connecting shaft (43) engages a part (2) made of elastomeric material and provided within the movable supporting member. Said actuator is useful for positioning and aligning heavy loads, particularly machine tools and long tubes.
