[origin: WO9813914A1] The present system relates to a restrain coil (11) for ignition systems, especially as ignition coil in internal combustion engines, designed in such a way that the method consisting in placing casting resin (49) into an inner space (30) of the restrain coil (11) results in a cheaper manufacturing process. Moreover, the inventive restrain coil (11) presents a channel starting from the connecting section (29), centrally arranged, passing across the core (14) and extending up to the bathtub-shaped bottom area (52) of the inner space. The casting resin flowing into the channel (16) reaches the closed bottom area, from where, deflected as one single front, it flows back through slots (19, 23) provided in the restrain coil (11), in the direction of the connecting section (29). The restrain coil (11) is intended preferably for use in vehicles.
