Abstract (en)
The hand tool has a hollow tubular body (2) with a zone for gripping it and a smooth inner surface. The body contains and end stop (3), a return spring (4) and a sliding weight (5) at its rear end, while its forward end has a tapering tip (6) containing the marking point and a bush (7) containing a spring-loaded and sliding piston (8) which strikes the point when it is hit by the weight. The weight has a hole in one end to receive the tip of the piston rod during certain phases of the tool's use.

Cet outil est remarquable en ce qu'il comprend un corps principal (2) tubulaire creux constituant la zone de préhension manuelle de l'outil, ledit corps étant lisse intérieurement pour recevoir successivement un embout d'extrémité (3), un moyen de rappel élastique (4) et une masselotte (5) susceptible de se déplacer à l'intérieur dudit corps tubulaire, et en ce qu'il comprend dans sa partie avant un corps effilé (6) creux intérieurement recevant la pointe à tracer, ledit corps effilé étant agencé pour recevoir la pointe à tracer, une douille profilée (7) creuse intérieurement, ladite douille étant agencée pour autoriser le passage et coulissement d'un piston à l'encontre d'un moyen élastique de rappel (9) sur une partie de sa longueur sous l'effet de poussée de la pointe, ladite douille autorisant la passage dudit piston pour venir en butée contre la masselotte (6) précitée à l'encontre de ce moyen élastique de rappel, et en ce que l'outil assure une fonction de traçage et une fonction de pointage. <IMAGE>
