Abstract (en)
The hand cutting tool consists of a handle (1) in which an exchangeable handle (3) with a heating wire (20) can be fitted, a guide element (2) and a rail (4). The guide element can be pushed along the rail. The handle can turn about an axis (45) in the guide element. This intersects the wire (20) at a right angle and runs directly adjacent to the straightening edge (60) of the rail. The releasable connection may be a quick-release lock, possibly of the bayonet lock type. A laser cutter may be used instead of a heating wire as the cutting tool.

Das Gerät besteht aus einem Griff (1), in welchen ein Halter (3) mit einem Heizdraht (20) austauschbar lösbar eingesetzt ist, einem Führungselement (2) und einer Schiene (4). Das Führungselement (2) ist längs der Schiene (4) verschiebbar geführt. Der Griff (1) ist im Führungselement (2) um eine Achse (45) schwenkbar gelagert, welche den Draht (20) rechtwinklig schneidet und unmittelbar benachbart einer Richtkante (60) der Schiene (4) verläuft. Das Gerät ist einfach in der Handhabung und vielseitig in der Anwendung. <IMAGE>
