Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0862993A1] A stainless steel sheet having on its surface a protective film for protecting the surface of the stainless steel sheet when worked by pressing. The protective film is comprised of a lower-layer coating film and an upper-layer coating film which are successively formed on its surface, the former being formed of an epoxy-modified acrylic resin obtained by modifying an acrylic resin having an acid value of from 40 to 300 and a glass transition temperature of from 0 DEG C to 20 DEG C with an epoxy oligomer having a molecular weight of from 500 to 2,000, to a degree of from 3% by mass to 20% by mass, and the latter being formed of an acrylic resin having an acid value of from 40 to 300 and a glass transition temperature of from 40 DEG C to 80 DEG C; the upper- and lower-layer coating films having a total thickness of from 1 mu m to 20 mu m.
