[origin: EP0862999A2] The roller rotary printing press has several double printing units (11,12). The printing sections (13,14) of the printing units work together on the rubber-to-rubber principle. They have their own drive. The transfer cylinders (17,18) are not connected to the drive. The transfer cylinders of the switchable double printing units are able to be set away from each other by means of eccentric bushes or levers which can be turned, so that the web (19) passing through the other double printing unit for printing can pass through between them.
