[origin: EP0864261A2] The appts. to apply an adhesive bond between two overlapping fabrics, such as for an insert at a garment material, has conveyors to carry the fabrics through a heating stage into a press zone. The hollow profile heating body (11) has a grid frame (39) with parallel grid rods. The hollow profile heating bodies (19) have a profiled groove (27) at the longitudinal sides. A number of heating bodies (19) are pushed into the grid frame (39) at profile heads (43) on clamping paws (42) which engage the grooves (27) at the heating bodies (19) in a shape fit lock.
