[origin: EP0864427A1] The print head has a valve plate and corresponding electrical contacts and its ink chamber is connected by a hose conduit to a storage tank for ink. The print head is composed in releasable connection of an under part (36) containing the valve plate and the electrical contacts and an additive piece (40), to which the hose conduit coming from the storage tank is connected. The under part is of an original print head. The additive piece is assemblable with the under part to form an ink chamber, which is outwardly sealed. The additive piece is formed as a cover for the under part and is provided with a hose connection (49). To the cover and the under part is fitted a connecting component (38,41) in the contour of the original print head.
