[origin: EP0864518A1] At least one side of the suspension-guided web (2) has successive jet-surfaces (1) with round holes (6) or slit-shaped nozzles (5). The width of the jet surfaces diminishes towards the edges (2) of the web of material. Ducts (7) open towards the surface of the web are positioned between the jet surfaces. The cross section of the ducts widens out from the middle of the suspension jet field to the edges.
