Abstract (en)
The protection for the edge of steps, in a flight of stairs, is a profiled rod in two part-profiled rod sections (1,2). One part-profile rod (2) has two legs (2,3), at right angles to each other, to be fitted to the body of the step at the corner edge. The body at the outer corner (4), between the two legs (2,3), has two projecting legs (5,6) to form a U-shaped zone (7) between them, to accommodate the other part-profile rod (1), pushed into place.

Der Trittkantenschutz enthält zwei Teilprofilstäbe (1,2), die ineinander schiebbar sind, so daß sie für unterschiedlich starke Treppenauflagen verwendbar sind. Der Teilprofilstab (2) besteht aus zwei rechtwinklig zueinander stehenden Profilschenkeln (2, 3), die sich nach außen verjüngen. Im Außeneck der beiden Profilschenkel (2, 3) sind zwei Schenkel (5, 6) im gleichen Abstand zum Eck im Winkel von 45° angesetzt, die zwischen sich eine U-förmige Ausnehmung (7) bilden. Der andere Teilprofilstab (1) besteht aus zwei rechtwinklig zueinander stehenden Profilschenkeln (9,10) und einem im Inneneck mittig angesetzten stärkeren Schenkel (11), der in einem Winkel von 45° zu den Profilschenkeln (9, 10) steht. Dieser mittige Schenkel (11) des Teilprofilstabes (1) wird in die U-förmige Ausnehmung (7) des Teilprofilstabes (2) je nach Stärke des Trittflächenbelages mehr oder weniger weit eingeschlagen und durch eine Verzahnung gehalten <IMAGE>
