Abstract (en)
The light has a lamp holder and a shaped reflector to collect part of the light output from the lamp (2). An optical unit (9) increases the angle of illumination over which the light is delivered. The reflector extends the angle of illumination along the length of the roadway. The optical unit spreading the light is placed between the light source and the shaped reflector. The optical unit is formed with a 'V'-shaped section, so it has an inclined and a perpendicular reflective surface. The point of the V is turned toward the light source. Multiple units of this type may be used with a single light source.

Ce luminaire, comprenant une lampe (2) et un réflecteur profilé (1) collectant une partie du flux de la lampe, est utilisé avec le réflecteur profilé placé en long dans la direction de la route, et il est muni d'un élément optique (9) élargisseur de faisceau, placé dans le trajet des rayons lumineux, élément qui comporte au moins une surface réfléchissante inclinée orientée dans la direction de la route.
