Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0865059A1] The relay operating circuit returns the relay (1) to the off position upon failure of an operating circuit component, with a voltage source (2) providing current pulses at defined time intervals when the relay is in the on position. The current pulses flow through the relay and are used to charge a capacitor (3), providing the operating current for the relay in the time internals between the current pulses.
