The plug connector has an insulating plastics housing (10), provided with contact elements cooperating with complementary contacts of a second plug connector. One group of contact elements are provided as contact pins, a second group of contact elements provided as contact sleeves. The contact pins and the contact sleeves may have the same insertion direction and may be positioned adjacent one another in a given region of the plug connector housing.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbundstecker. Derartige Verbundstecker hatten bisher immer nur Steckelemente einer einzigen Gattung, also entweder Steckstifte oder Steckhülsen. Um Geräte mit Steckelementen unterschiedlicher Gattung elektrisch anschließen zu können, war es daher bisher notwendig, immer getrennte Stecker zu verwenden. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, derartige Geräte mittels eines einzigen Montagehandgriffes gleichzeitig anschließen zu können. Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe durch einen neuen Verbundstecker, in dem Steckelemente beider Gattungen (6,11) also Steckhülsen (11) und auch Steckstifte (6) vorgesehen sind. <IMAGE>
