Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0865114A1] The high voltage (HV) plug connector (3) is inserted in the electrical supply path between a HV source and a supplied load and has a pair of cooperating connector halves brought together and separated by relative axial movement. A monitoring switch contact (7) is operated upon the separation movement of the cooperating connector halves, connected to a control device (1) for automatic cut-out of the HV source.
