[origin: WO9721014A1] Described is a canopy which is adjustable in size and comprises an awning (1, 2) which can be wound on to a shaft (3) fitted with only one drive. The awning (1, 2) is attached to the shaft (3) along a parting or fold line. To wind the two parts (1, 2) of the awning formed by the parting or fold line on or off the shaft, at least one cable (6, 6') is used which acts on the awning (1, 2) and can be wound on to a pulley (5, 5') mounted on the shaft (3).
