[origin: DE19641040A1] The present invention relates to an atmospheric-type burner intended for use in heaters such as a hot water apparatus, with a) a gas supply device (14) comprising a) a plurality of flow nozzles (12), b) an injector unit (16) including at least one discharge pipe (18) for the air-gas mixture, c) a reversing area (22) connecting, in the direction of flow, with the injector unit and opening out into a mixture distributor (24) which tapers out (24), and d) a mixture distributor (4) outlet associated with blades (830, 31) through a cooling pipe system (32) and defining between them channels or slots (34) for the passage of the air-gas mixture, which is ignited on a burner plate (36) turned to the combustion chamber. Thus, a burner can be built which is compact, of a small height and with a low NOx and Co emission rate.
