[origin: EP0834845A1] The method involves a rapid wavelet transformation and fuzzy logic. The original signal is passed through a cascade of high/low pass filter pairs during wavelet transformation. The rapid wavelet transformation is combined with a fuzzy logic evaluation, whereby a corresp. function is generated from the resultant of the high pass filter for each filter stage. The corresp. function is used for the further analysis of the frequency signal using fuzzy logic rules.
