[origin: EP0865751A2] The tub is held in one or both ends (3,4) by at least one moulded component (8,9). One or more functional components (22), e.g. taps, or a panel (20) for covering pipes or pumps are located next to the moulded components along the sides of the bath. Preferably two moulded components with flat, curved or oval end surfaces are located symmetrically to each other at both ends of the tub and have angled or curved end walls. The rim of the tub rests on the top surfaces of the moulded components. The moulded and functional components are of a set length and the size of the bath depends on the length of the panels. Shelves or cupboards may be built into the panels.
