Abstract (en)

The rim (2) of the bath contains a first permanent magnet (8) which is attracted to a second permanent magnet (10) in the bottom of a preferably swinging wall panel (4) which can be moved over the rim of the bath. A first permanent magnet is located at a set distance beneath the surface (6) of the rim of the bath. Preferably a first permanent magnet is integrated into the rim of the bath by enclosing it between two layers (22,24) forming rim of the bath. The permanent magnet fits into at least one long groove (26) in one layer. A second permanent magnet has a low friction coefficient coating and can be moved vertically with the panel.

Eine Duschabtrennung enthält wenigstens ein, insbesondere schwenkbar angeordnetes Türlement (4), welches über einen Wannenrand (2) bewegbar ist. Dem Wannenrand (2) ist ein erstes Magnetteil (8) zugeordnet und ferner ist im Bereich der Unterkante des Türelements (4) ein zweites Magnetteil (10) vorgesehen. Die Duschabtrennung soll dahingehend weitergebildet werden, daß eine funktionssichere Abdichtung mit geringem Bauaufwand sichergestellt ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß das erste Magnetteil (8) an der Unterseite des Wannenrandes (2) in einem vorgebbaren Abstand unterhalb der Oberfläche (6) des Wannenrandes (2) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
