Abstract (en)
The binding has a fixed body (3) with two arms (5,6) that are pivoted independently so that they can separate. They form levers that act on the end of a rod whose other end is joined to an adjustable stop (14). A spring, between the stop and a fixed stop, is adjusted by the adjustable stop. An index mark (15), on the adjustable stop, cooperates with graduations (22) on a plate (20). One end of the plate rests against a piece joined to the rod and its other end rests against the fixed body by two flexible tongues (24,25).

Fixation du type à mâchoires constituée de deux bras (5,6) montés pivotant de manière indépendante et formant levier agissant sur l'extrémité d'un tirant (12) dont l'autre extrémité est reliée à une butée (14) solidaire du tirant et retenue par un ressort (16) dont la précompression est réglable en déplaçant la butée qui porte un index (15) coopérant avec une graduation (22) portée par une plaquette (20). L'extrémité avant de cette plaquette s'appuie élastiquement (24, 25) contre le corps (3) de la fixation de manière à suivre le déplacement du tirant lors du chaussage, de telle sorte que l'affichage de la précompression du ressort n'est pas modifié par le chaussage. <IMAGE>
