[origin: EP0865901A2] The upper front door, during the return stroke of the press plate, opens the filling opening automatically vertically upwards by a catch. A protection switch interrupts the pressing operation if the lower or upper door is open, and a second switch interrupts the pressing operation if the upper door is moved manually during the opening operation. The switch consists of a sensor with a coded magnet, and when the contact between the two is closed the baling press is ready for operation.
