[origin: EP0866000A1] A procedure for handling loose material in a container has the material coming into a flexible inner part (4) in the container (1) and it can escape downwards through an outlet (8) that can be closed. During the emptying of the container, an air stream is blown in between the flexible inner part and the container wall. An air chamber is designed in which a pulsating air stream is propagated from an air inlet union (12) to an air outlet union (13). The air entry at the inlet union takes place in the lower part of the air chamber tangentially to the almost circular inner part and rising spirally to the tangential air outlet.
