Abstract (en)
The machine conveys flat printed e.g. cardboard (1) to a corrugation station. The board is guided (2) between rollers (4,5) over corrugation forming surfaces (16,17) arranged in parallel along the guide-path. The forming corrugation surfaces are located on both sides of a transition zone (7), forming a non-contact guide for the moving printed board. The non-contact corrugation forming surfaces extend over most of the transition zone between the rollers and the inlet zone for the next process stage where the corrugation is applied to the flat board.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Transportieren von flachem, bedrucktem Material, z. B. einer bedruckten Materialbahn, eines Bahnstrangs, einer Signatur, o. ä. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung umfaßt ein Paar Halteelemente (4, 5) zum Transportieren der Materialbahn (1) und Wellelemente (16, 17), die entlang einem linearen Pfad nebeneinander angeordnet sind. Die Wellelemente (16, 17) sind auf beiden Seiten eines Übergangsbereichs (7) vorgesehen, so daß diese berührungslos auf das flache, bedruckte Material (1) wirken, während es durch den Übergangsbereich (7) befördert wird, wobei sich die Wellelemente (16, 17) im wesentlichen entlang dem Übergangsbereich (7) erstrecken, der sich zwischen einem Austrittsbereich des Paares von Halteelementen (4, 5) und einem Eintrittsbereich zu weiteren Verarbeitungselementen befindet, um das flache, bedruckte Material (1) zu wellen. <IMAGE>
