Abstract (en)
An element for a drill string comprises tubes whose external surfaces present helical grooves. These grooves transverse section is perpendicular to the axis of the string, which is in part counter-turned at the back of a radius of the string passed by the external extreme of the groove section in the direction of rotation. The transverse section of the groove is described by a straight line making a negative counter-turn angle ( beta ) with the radius of the transverse section of the string.

L'élément de train de tiges de forage rotatif (1) comporte au moins un tronçon (2a) de forme tubulaire dont la surface externe présente au moins une rainure (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 8e) disposée suivant une hélice ayant pour axe l'axe (O) du tronçon (2a). La rainure (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 8e) présente une section transversale par un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe (O) du tronçon ayant une partie (10) en contre-dépouille, située à l'arrière d'un rayon (OA) de la section transversale du tronçon (2a) passant par l'extrémité externe (A) de la section de la rainure (8c) située à l'arrière de la rainure (8c), en considérant le sens de rotation (Ω) du train de tiges. <IMAGE>
