Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0866514A1] The antenna has two separate antenna elements (1) for reception of signals in the meter and decimeter wavelength range. The received signals are fed via a line and collector network (9) to a common node point (5), for providing a combined reception signal. The geometric spacing between the antenna elements is not greater than the operating wavelength. The line and collector network use phase and amplitude evaluation elements for ensuring optimum reception quality upon reception of superimposed partial waves by the moving vehicle.
