The connection device uses a number of adjacent termination units (1) each having a carrier with 2 interconnected spaced rows (3,5) of termination elements (4), alternating with further termination units (14) of similar configuration. The connections between the automation device (16) and the external lines (22) for an external device (22) are provided by connecting the output terminals of the atomisation device to the termination elements in the parallel first rows (3) of the termination units and connecting the external lines to the corresponding termination elements in the parallel second rows (5).

Eine Einrichtung zum Anschließen externer Leitungen an ein Automatisierungsgerät mit mehreren Gruppen von Ein- und/oder Ausgangsanschlüssen besteht aus mehreren nebeneinanderliegenden Anschlußeinheiten mit einer ersten und zweiten Reihe von jeweils miteinander verbundenen Anschlußelementen. Zur Verringerung des Projektierungs- und Montageaufwands in Verbindung mit dem Anschließen der externen Leitungen an das Automatisierungsgerät sind weitere Anschlußeinheiten (14) vorgesehen, deren Anschlußelemente (4) auch innerhalb der Reihen (3, 5) miteinander elektrisch verbunden sind und die mit den Anschlußeinheiten (1) abwechselnd nebeneinanderliegend angeordnet sind. <IMAGE>
