Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9723303A1] A gas feed system for detonation gun apparatus (2) having a labyrinth shaped gas path. The labyrinth (30) is positioned between the fuel and oxygen supply and the combustion chamber (12) of a detonation gun. The labyrinth (30) allows the fuel and oxygen supply to flow into the combustion and precludes the migration of the detonation wave front into the fuel supply by destroying that portion of the detonation wave front that enters the labyrinth (30). The labyrinth gas feed system increases safety, reliability and productivity of the detonation coating process.
