Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0867349A2] The braking regulation device has a velocity regulator (14). It is used to maintain a preset vehicle velocity by selective brake application, switched out of operation upon depression of the brake pedal (1), with the braking pressure of the wheel brakes (12) maintained. The actual braking pressure of the wheel brakes is continuously compared with the required braking pressure represented by the depression of the brake pedal. This continues until the required braking pressure is attained.
