Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2756809A1] The large capacity life raft (1) comprises an inflatable peripheral edge (2) forming a buoyancy fender and a central bottom (3). The bottom comprises a zone (4) forming a reception platform for embarking persons at the end of the raft. It has a re-assembly zone (5) for the embarked persons. The re-assembly zone occupies a relatively greater surface of the bottom than the reception platform. The reception platform and the re-assembly zone are separated by watertight partitions. The life raft is self erecting when launched into the water.

Radeau de sauvetage de grande capacité (1, 10) comportant un bord périphérique gonflable (2) formant boudin de flottabilité et un fond central (3) solidarisé à celui-ci, caractérisé en ce que ledit fond central (3) comprend au moins une zone (4) formant plate-forme d'accueil des personnes embarquant et au moins une zone (5) de regroupement des personnes embarquées, ladite zone de regroupement (5) occupant une surface dudit fond relativement sensiblement plus importante que celle occupée par ladite zone de plateforme d'accueil (4). <IMAGE>
