Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0867568A1] The siphon body (1) of a siphon for a water drain has a maintenance aperture (2) which is sealed by a removable siphon closure (4), which can be moved into a position in which the siphon is closed and into one or more positions in which water in the siphon body can drain out of the maintenance aperture and is collected in a container (8) forming part of the closure. Preferably the container extends around the periphery of the closure and is open at the end facing the maintenance aperture. The container itself is preferably provided with a drain (9).
