The fuel feed is arranged at such a distance from the stop plate (13) in the feed channel (55) that in front of the stop plate a practically homogeneous mixture of fuel and air is guaranteed. The stop plate closes off the feed channel (55) as far as a central through passage (29). The fuel feed is arranged in the blower and the through passage (29) is ring-shaped, arranged concentrically around a displacement body (19). Crossways to the flow direction and at a distance from the stop plate a holed plate (57) is arranged in the feed channel for air. The through passage (29) is provided with twist-producing guide surfaces (31).

Ein praktisch von der Form des Feuerungsraums unabhängiger, sehr ruhiger und abgasarmer Gasbrenner (11) zur Verbrennung von gasförmigem Brennstoff mit Abgasrezirkulation. Der Brennstoff wird vor einer Stauscheibe mit der Luft homogen vermischt, dieses Gemisch durch einen zentralen Durchlass (29) in das Flammrohr (15) geblasen und Abgas durch Sogwirkung durch Rezirkulationsöffnungen (39) so in das Flammrohr (15) rückgeführt wird, dass es die zentrale Strömung ummantelt. Es entsteht eine kühle und z.T. hohle Flamme, mit der Abgaswerte für NOx von 10 bis 20 mg/kW und für CO von unter 16 mg/kW erreicht werden. Der Brenner ist sowohl für Gas wie auch für flüssige Brennstoffe geeignet. <IMAGE>
