In a panel-like photovoltaic solar module, used especially as a facade or roof element and having outer connection leads for electrical connection to further solar modules, the connection leads (25) are fixed to a connection tab (12) which is connected to a module connection element (10) extending outside the panel structure and which is arranged in a tangential plane of the module connection element (10), the latter being connectable to corresponding module connection elements of adjacent solar modules. The interior cover (24) of the module, which is spaced from an exterior pane (20) to define an interspace (22) for holding solar cells, may be in the form of a foil sandwich with one or more fluoropolymer-backed base foils of plastic (e.g. polyester) or metal (e.g. aluminium).

Ein photovoltaisches Solarmodul in Plattenform, insbesondere zur Verwendung als Fassaden- oder Dachelement, mit wenigstens einer dem einfallenden LIcht zugewandten Außenscheibe, wenigstens einer in Lichteinfallsrichtung dahinter unter Erzeugung eines Scheibenzwischenraumes mit Abstand angeordneten Innenabdeckung und gegebenenfalls einem die Außenscheibe und die Innenabdeckung umlaufend dicht miteinander verbindenden Randaufbau und mit zwischen der Außenscheibe und der Innenabdeckung angeordneten, in Gießharz, Verbundfolie(n) oder dergleichen eingebetteten Solarzellen mit einem diese elektrisch verschaltenden Leitersystem, von dem Anschlußleitungen zum elektrischen Verbinden mit benachbarten weiteren Solarmodulen in den außerhalb des Plattenaufbaus liegenden Bereich führen, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anschlußleitungen an einer Anschlußfahne befestigt sind, welche mit einem sich im wesentlichen außerhalb des Plattenaufbaus erstreckenden Modulanschlußelement verbunden ist, wobei die Anschlußfahne in einer Tangentialebene des Modulanschlußelementes angeordnet ist und wobei das Modulanschlußelement mit entsprechenden Modulanschlußelementen benachbarter Solarmodule verschaltbar ist. <IMAGE>
