[origin: EP0867978A2] The connector includes a plug casing (1) which is open at the front side (2) for attaching a corresponding plug, and which comprises a rear wall (5) at the back (21). An, on both ends open, channel (4) is formed in the casing forming a right angle. A right-angled, interior conductor contact (8) formed of one piece is arranged in the channel, and is isolated with respect to the casing. The rear wall of the casing is displaced inwards, so that a gap (7) is formed, facing the outer front surface area (6) of the casing. The rear wall comprises a slot-like extrusion (12) outgoing from the gap inwards up to the channel, which extends along the entire channel for the insertion of the interior conductor. A cap (18) is inserted in the gap, covering the front surface area of the casing concisely.
