Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19713726C1] The basic rotor body has several chopping stations spread out and comprising blades clamped between friction plates and clamping plates. Each station (2) has only a single clamping plate (5) extending over the working width of the rotor. The clamping plate seen in the circumferential direction of the rotor is swivel mounted behind the blade (3) on the rotor body to move about an axis parallel to the rotor axis. After the blades are clamped the clamping plate is locked by a suitable mechanism. Each chopping station can be provided with only one or with several blades.
