Abstract (en)
A muffle for insertion in continuously cycled or batch furnaces for thermal treatment operations. It has a body (1) of a form elongated in the direction of advancement of the products to be treated. This body (1) delimits, within its inner volume, a chamber (2) through which the products pass on a conveyor belt or in which the products are placed statically. The body (1) is produced preferably by means of a paste with a base of ceramic material such as silicon carbide with or without a refractory stainless steel.

Il s'agit d'un moufle à insérer dans des fours à cycle continu statiques, pour traitements thermiques de différents types. Il présente un corps (1) de forme pratiquement allongée dans la direction d'avance des produits à traiter, ledit corps délimitant, dans son volume intérieur, une chambre (2) où l'on fait passer les produits à traiter thermiquement sur une bande transporteuse, ou bien où ces produits sont placés statiquement. Ledit moufle présente, comme caractéristique fondamentale de nouveauté, le fait que son corps (1) est réalisé au moyen d'une pâte à base de matière céramique. <IMAGE>
