Abstract (en)

The flow limiter has a chamber (5,8) positioned between an inlet and an outlet (2,4) for the water. A valve lift limiter (17) has a push button control (26,32,33) which is independent from it. The limiter is displaced by the water pressure. The control button has a contact surface (27) for the limiter and is movable between a position where the contact surface (27) limits the movement of the limiter in the chamber and thence the flow of water and a position in which the contact surface is released from the limiter.

Un dispositif assure, en utilisation normale, une limitation du débit en contrôlant le niveau d'une soupape (17) dans une chambre (5, 8) située entre une entrée (2) et une sortie (4) de liquide grâce à des surfaces d'appui (27, 27b, 27c) portées par un élément de commande (26, 32; 33). En déplaçant l'élément de commande (26, 32; 33), les surfaces d'appui (27, 27b, 27c) sont effacées et ainsi la soupape (17) descend permettant l'obtention d'un débit supérieur à la limite, voire le débit maximum. Des moyens élastiques (18, 28) ramènent automatiquement la soupape (17) et l'élément de commande (26, 32; 33) en position stable où ils limitent le débit. La rotation de l'élément de commande (33) autour de son axe (34), lorsque la surface d'appui (27c) est constituée d'une came (38) excentrique par rapport à l'axe (34), permet d'aisément modifier la limite de débit. <IMAGE>
