Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0869248A2] The hinge comprises halves (24,26) containing undercut grooves (16), and which are coupled together via a pin (28). Fixing screws (32) engage in profiled blocks (34) inserted in the grooves. Each hinge half has preferably only a single opening for a screw, together with a recess for a fixing component (62) through which the screw passes. A protrusion (64) on the component extends into the groove (16). There can be two such protrusions 180 degrees apart. At the screw opening, there can be a recess accommodating the rib (66) on which the protrusion is mounted. The width of the protrusions can be roughly equal to that of the profiled grooves.
