[origin: EP0869274A1] The valve has a plastic housing for a cold fluid, and a connector part for a hot fluid, with outlet aperture to add hot to cold flow. Elements to extract heat from the plastic housing have at least two flow faces (40), formed by fluid guide plates. The plates are positioned opposite to each other, and extend in flow direction of the cold medium (14). The plates are located in the area of outlet (24) from the connector (12), and at least partially screen the plastic housing (10) against the hot fluid flow (15). The plates are at distance from the inside of the housing, and curve towards the housing wall.
